Dr. Katie Sherrill

Katie Sherrill grew up in Libby Montana and fell in love with veterinary medicine in high school when the local vet let her shadow him and learn about the amazing field.  She attended MSU for undergrad and went to Colorado State University for veterinary school. Her veterinary career started in Enumclaw Washington where she worked with dog and cats as well as farm animals.  She loved her time there but she and her husband were excited for an opportunity to come home to Montana. She started working for Central Valley Animal Hospital in 2006 and became a partner in 2009. Along the way she has had two boys that keep her super busy and she loves balancing her career and raising kids.  When she’s not working she enjoys anything outdoors with her family including hiking, biking, fishing and skiing, as well as being the stereotypical soccer mom. She also enjoys her pets, her family is not complete without a couple loyal dogs and a couple independent cats.

Dr. Amanda Oedekoven

Dr. Amanda Oedekoven grew up outside Libby, Montana with a passion for animals and the people who care for them. Years of 4-H and FFA involvement only fueled the fire. She attended Montana State University where she met her husband Wes, and earned her Bachelors in Animal Science. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 2010. Her veterinary career led her back to Montana where she served as a large and small animal veterinary practitioner in Havre. While they enjoyed their time on the highline, the opportunity to return to northwest Montana had them packing up their lives and moving to Kalispell. Dr. Oedekoven joined the practice in 2013 and became a partner in 2019. Dr. Oedekoven and her husband are staying busy happily raising two amazing kids, Colton and Kylee. As a family, they enjoy raising and exhibiting livestock, riding horses in the mountains, and hunting/fishing together. A family activity is never complete without some kind of animal tagging alongside.

Dr Katie Boote

Dr. Katie Boote was rasied on a ranch in South Dakota where she developed her passion to become a veterinarian. She did her undergraduate work at South Dakota State University. She then went on to Iowa State University to obtain her Doctorate in Verterinarian Medicine. Over the past 4 years she has been working in full-service equine veterinarian hospitals. During this time, she had a plethora of experiences working with both routine and advanced medical and surgical care. She has stepped back from equine medicine to work for a small animal veterinarian at the wonderful and busy Central Valley Animal Hospital. During this transition Katie attended Options for Animals chiropractic school, this was a very rigorous course and afterward obtained her international certification. During her down time, you can find her riding her horse, trail running with her dogs, or toting her camera around enjoying all Montana has to offer.
