Dr. Amanda Oedekoven

"Hello fellow companion animal enthusiasts!  My name is Dr. Amanda (Shotzberger) Oedekoven.  I originally hail from Libby, where I grew up on a small cattle and horse ranch outside of town.  My rural Montana upbringing was very amenable to my passion for animals allowing at one time or another for a wide variety of species to be under my care.  Local 4-H and FFA programs only fueled the fire toward my lifelong goal of becoming a veterinarian.  I attended Montana State University for my undergraduate education in Animal Science, and Washington State University for my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and supplemental Veterinary Business Management education.  Upon completion, I joined my husband, Wes, in Havre where I began my career as a Large and Small Animal Veterinary Practitioner.  With the birth of our son, Colton, we knew it was time to come home to Northwest Montana.  It wasn't long before we were settled in and loving life in the Flathead.  In June of 2013, we were blessed with the birth of our daughter, Kylee.  I feel privileged to join the compassionate team at Central Valley Animal Hospital to provide your pets with quality preventative, medical, dental, and surgical care.  Together, we can help your pets live long, happy, and healthy lives.  I look forward to meeting you and your 4-legged family!
