Our surgeons are skilled in their trade, and we offer a wide array of surgical procedures from routine spay/neuter to extensive orthopedic repairs and tumor removals in house. Our surgical suite is complete with sterilized surgical equipment, gas anesthesia machines, anesthetic monitoring equipment (to monitor heart rate and rhythm, oxygen saturation, CO2 output, and respiration rate), circulating warming blanket, fluid pumps, and electrocautery (to minimize bleeding during surgery).
Our staff is happy to provide you with a line by line estimate and explanation of our surgical costs prior to surgery. We ask that most patients be fasted after 8 pm the night before surgery (water overnight is ok), and that in most cases they are dropped off with us between 8 and 8:30 am the day of surgery. Most of our day procedures go home by 4 pm the same day. If they are a surgical patient that requires hospitalization, we will communicate that with you as well. We also provide you with a recovery plan and expectations for return to activity. Pain management is very important to our team. We provide pre-operative pain control along with local pain blocks. Our patients are sent home with pain medications to keep them comfortable in the recovery process.
